The work is broken down into multiple categories to help narrow your search or interest. The categories are fairly self explanatory and I will offer a quick guide of what each major category represents. The (#) after each category represents the number of available pieces to view.

Contemporary Art :: The paintings under this category are made exclusively in studio and represent the major directions that my work and exhibitions have taken. This work is often more involved in terms of investment and intent and they represent my best efforts at bridging a desire to be a contemporary artist with my love of a traditional approach to painting and drawing. Subcategories represent different series produced during different periods in my career.

Traditional Art :: The paintings under this category represent a more behind the scenes kind of artwork that is shown less frequently. Much of this work is done from observation and done with a different intent than the contemporary art. The intent for these paintings comes from a constant need to expand the language of the different materials and approaches I use. Experiments with ideas and techniques at a more manageable scale makes up the bulk of this work. Making this work helps replenish the reservoir of creativity that can be depleted by long stints of intense studio work.
