Contemporary Art :: These paintings represent the major directions that my exhibited work has taken. This work is often more expansive in terms of investment and intent and they represent my best efforts at bridging a desire to be a contemporary artist with my love of a traditional approach to painting and drawing. Different series have been produced during different periods in my career.

Traditional Art :: These paintings represent a more behind the scenes kind of artwork that is more straightforward and done more from observation. The intent comes from a constant need to expand my artistic language of technique and material at a more manageable scale. Creating this work helps replenish the reservoir of creativity that can be depleted by long stints of intense studio work.

space Commissioned Art :: These paintings represent a number of different commissioned pieces I have been asked to undertake over the years. The challenge is to marry my artistic language with a clients idea.
